DIY Tutorial: handmade bathmat

When i unpack my thing from the box, i realise that my bath towel is already torn. So I decided to make use of it. In my mind, i'm thinking about make it into a potholder, But seeing that i short of bathmat, so i decided to make it.
my torn's bath towel. So sad because this towel is my fav.


1) already cut bathtowel with a backing

2) sewing in progress

3) finish product. I make it 2 instead of 1

So here are how to do it.

We need:
-torn/recycle bath towel (make sure this bath towel can reallybabsorb water)
-backing fabric (use the rough-weaving fabric so the bathmat is not slippery)
-sewing machine/hand sewing needle to sew ( if u use sewing machine, please use a jeans needle not a regular one. I broke 2 of my sewing needle before i realise it too thick. so i change to a jeans needle)

how to do-it
1) i cut a bath towel into 2 pieces.
2) I fold each one into half.
3) cut the backing fabric same size with the fold bath towel.
4)with wrong-side out, sewing the fabric.
5)after that turn right side out and sew again...
6) it's done.

Hari aku ada tunjukkan beg yang aku buat sendiri dari seluar. Malam tadi, sepupu aku plak mintak buatkan beg dari seluar dia. Seluar tu dah koyak, tapi dia sayang nak buang. so aku pun buatlah beg macam beg aku tu. cuma ada kelainan skit. apa kelainan dia. hehehe dia ada dua gaya/style gaya pertama, jadi tote bag. So untuk sepupu aku bawak pi keje. kesemua bahagian seluar aku gunakan. cuma zippanjang ngan gelung besi tu aje aku add.. yang lain, dari seluar tu sendiri. Bahagian dalamnya. ada 4 poket aku sediakan untuk dia letak barang. ni adalah bahagian poket belakang aku ubah jadi 4 poket.. Syle kedua. panjangkan tali so beg tu boleh dipakai selempang badan. So senang kalo dia nak bawak baju balik kg ke nanti.. Warna hitam yang korang nampak kat depan bag tu, aku jahit semula label seluar tu. barulah orang tau seluar mana jadi mangsa beg. Kalo pada aku, beg ini pelbagai guna. harap-harap dia sukalah. Walaupun jahitan macam hampeh. hehehe.

Projek Untuk hari raya..beg untuk sepupu

Sepupu aku ada mintak tlg batkan beg untuk dia. just nak letak camera ngan handset dia. So aku pun trylah buat beg kecil yg taklah nmpk mcm beg pompuan. sbb cousin aku tu lelaki. Tapi tak taulah. sesuai ke ye :) Setelah dah siap, baru aku teringat nak amik gmbr. huhuhu. so korang tgklah beg yg dh siap tu ye. 1) gmbr dekat. yg ni cousin aku dah ltk brg dah. hehehe tu yg nmpk elok tegak tu. 2) ada simple design batu hotfix just for deco... 3) kecil je beg tu. lbh kurang 8 inci lebar ngan 10 inci tinggi. kira mcm beg pegang lah.. itu ajelah... kalo tgk dekat2 still tak kemas lg jahitan aku.

Sampul duit raya

Ni pulak sampul duit raya yang aku print sendiri. hehehe thanks pada emiliayusof sebab buat freebies ni. aku just amik dah edit sedikit. letak label aku. harap emilia tak marah ye.. 1) aku pakai kertas ni aje, water resistant. harga pun oklah rm16.00 utk 100 kpg 2) design dah print, so masa utk potong. hehehe 3) sebahagian yang telah aku potong. nasib baik tak buat banyak, jenuh nak potong tu. :) 4) close up slps dipotong 5) selesai melekatkan. so inilah hasilnya. aku buat pun tak byk. cuma 50 je yng mampu aku buat.. oklah tu kan.. oklah bye bye terima kasih emilia sbb design ni. comel sesgt :)
